Every manufacturer of these supplies looks to target a specific group of customers, using ingredients and materials of varying quality. The better the raw materials, the more expensive the final product.

Given the wide choice of art and craft materials, it is common to focus on four diferent segments of customers and their needs.

In our catalogue, we use the following categories:

"Beginner"
"Student"
"Graduate"
"Professional"

These four categories indicate the various price levels, composition and quality of different producst with „Professional“ representing the highest level and „Beginner“ representing the entry point.

For example:

Oil paints from the "Professional" category contain a higher concentration of very high-quality pigments, which accounts for the higher production costs. Oil paints from the „Student“ category contain fewer pigments in order to reduce production costs and are often produced with synthetic binders. This makes them perfect for beginners or those on a budget.
